Not sturdy at all, I found it to be very flimsy, wasn't worth the space it took up. Went straight to the trash.

I ordered 2 with a friend: his was perfect, my unit had one foot that wouldn't stick. I'd get another one at the current price ($15) if I could justify it. It turned out that the one foot had was not made correctly, but it was easily fixed with me drilling one additional hole and repositioning the locking pin that actuates the cam action suction cup lock. It is sturdy, sheetmetal frame is very heavy duty, tabletop is laminated bamboo (very hard, very durable). Great for gluing up, chisel work, sanding, planing. 5 mins, and good as the factory intended. I love it.
This clamp is very versatile and sturdier than I expected, given its price. The only minuses I can come up with are the clamping handles seem to me to be on the wrong side of the clamping platforms so you have to reach around the back of the item you are working on. And the levers for the vacuum pads and the pads themselves look like they will not last as long as the top clamp.
